ESQL/C-92 is in a "mature" state and offers only limited support in version 10. Some benefits may not be available, nor is it guaranteed that support engineers will have the knowledge or skill set to resolve any specific issues involving this product. There will be no new features, no new certifications, but ESQL-92 is still available.
Progress strongly recommends a move to a fully supported product (ODBC or JDBC SQL-92 drivers) in order to maintain the highest level of support. Please refer to the Product Life Cycle Guide for more details on the mature stage of a Progress product.
