Importing data from a Progress database into an Excel Worksheet
Using OpenEdge 10.1A ODBC driver to make the connection
Database tables are visible so connection has been established
ODBC errors are generated when data is about to be imported (Import Data dialog)
[DataDirect][ODBC OPENEDGE driver]Optional feature not implemented.
[DataDirect][ODBC OPENEDGE driver]Server rejects connection on attach.
[DataDirect][ODBC OPENEDGE driver]Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed.
Clicking OK through the errors raises Excel's Select Data Source dialog
If the OpenEdge 10.1A ODBC DSN is re-selected and the correct credentials are supplied then data will be imported into the Excel Worksheet correctly
Errors did not appear with earlier versions of the ODBC driver
