Slow performance using WebSpeed application
Using Apache Webserver
Apache and WebSpeed reside on one server
Database resides on second server
Agents connect client/server to database
No performance issue with character client application (on database server) connecting locally/shared memory to database
Issue is only seen with character client and/or agent (on Webserver) application connecting client/server to database.
CAUSE:
Tests have shown that when the same application is moved to another network, there is no performance issue. The issue seems to be network related.
FIX:
Move the WebSpeed application local to the database and connect locally to database. This way, there is no network in between the two.
