SYMPTOM(s):
4GL client can't connect to AppServer running on same machine. getting errors
Application Service <Application Service> not found at NameServer at Host <Host> Port <Port>. (8245)
Application Service <appserver_name> not found at NameServer at Host <localhost> Port <Port>. (8245)
Connection failure for host <host> port <port> transport <transport_name>. (9407)
Application server connect failure. (5468)
"asbman -name <appserver_name> -query" shows
active Application server
Within <appserver_name>.broker.log wrong hostname within message 8057
keepAlive started for (<applServices>) on NameServer<hostName>:<portNum> (8057)
CAUSE:
Mistake within ubroker.properties, wrong hostname given
FIX:
Have a correct ubroker.properties file, "building" it starting from a copy of %DLC%\ubroker.properties.template and using Progress Explorer.
