SYMPTOM(s):
Error querying certain tables with large amount of columns
Connnecting via ODBC/JDBC SQL92 to a Progress Database
[JDBC Progress Driver]:[20101] Server not reachable or possible RPC error General error
Error occurs on machines going through a specific router
Error does not occur when querying from a machine situated on a different subnet/router.
CAUSE:
The specific router has a packet size limitation.
FIX:
Change the router configuration to break packets up into smaller sizes before sending. The query should now work.
