GOAL:
Is Progress supported on Dual-Core AMD processors
FIX:
Progress Software generally does not certify specific CPU architectures, because these details are hidden by the OS.
A Dual-Core AMD processor is an x64-compatible processor, and it is expected that the host OS will "map" the dual core to two separate logical CPU's, in a fashion similar to what OS's do with Intel's Hyper-Threading architecture.
As such, there should not be problems running Progress on any of the x86- or x64-compatible operating systems against which Progress was certified. For more information, please see the Product Availability Guide at http://www.progress.com/support.
