The PROPATH can be set both at a USER level and if not defined for the USER then at a SYSTEM level.
The user value will be searched for first, if no value is defined the system level will be used.
For the GUI version of Progress / OpenEdge the user level is located in the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PSC\PROGRESS\<version of Progress or OpenEdge>\Startup
For the GUI version of Progress / OpenEdge the system level is located in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\PSC\PROGRESS\<version of Progress or OpenEdge>\Startup
For the CHAR version of Progress / OpenEdge the user level is located in the following registry key:
