Progress process killed at OS level
Progress client getting error 289
SYSTEM ERROR: tmrej called, but no transaction active. (289)
Error 2022 seen within one database log file (<dbname>.lg)
Part of the distributed transaction might have failed. (2022)
CAUSE:
Kill of the progress process
FIX:
Do not kill a process at OS level.
Have Two-Phase Commit (2PC) in place to have assistance for resolving issue with distributed transactions.
