GOAL:
Can install media from HP-UX be used to install Progress on Linux?
FIX:
No, this is not possible and you will experience problems during the installation. All products that are to be installed on HP-UX have a different media ID/code than products that are to be installed on Red Hat Linux.
For example;
-All products that are supposed to be installed on HP-UX 32 bit (PA-RISC) have a media ID of 173.
-All products that are supposed to be installed on Red Hat Linux have a media ID of 178.
