Connect OS/2 Clients to AS/400
To connect OS/2 Client to the As/400 you need to install the following
on the AS/400:
o AS/400 Operating System must be at V2R2 or higher
o PROGRESS/400 4GL & DataServer or PROGRESS/400 DataServer
6.2M04 or higher
o SNA Communications Method
On the Client you will need:
o OS/2 EE (Extended Edition) this includes the Communications
Manager
o Network card, Progress recommends either Token-Ring or Ethernet
o ISDN, X.25, SDLC, or Twinax communications are excepted
o IBM LAN Support Program V1.26 or higher (IF USING LAN FAST PATH
ONLY)
