SYSTEM ERROR: Unable to extend database within area Schema Area. (8897)

Large files are enabled on the version 9 database
Schema d1 extent was a past variable extent that was capped at f 2096768
Schema d2 extent is variable with a current size of 3.8GB
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
Steps to work around this problem:
1. Disable after-imaging, if enabled
2. Disable two-phase commit, if enabled
3. Disable replication, if applicable
4. Backup the database
5. Truncate the bi file
6. Run proutil dbname -C mvsch
7. Truncate the bi file
8. In version 10, run proutil dbname -C conv910
