SYMPTOM(s):
Creating active unique index.
Changes are not saved.
No error messages.
CAUSE:
Index is not unique.
FIX:
To create a unique index if must be unique. In order to add the index and have the changes saved it must be maded unique at entry time or created as a deactivated index. Creating a non unique index as deactivated will prevent the changes from being backed out when saving the new entries
After the changes are saved check the index for uniqueness, if not unique, make the necessary changes and then run idxbuild or idxfix to activate the index.
