FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.x
OpenEdge 10.x
FIX:
There is no Progress mechanism for displaying a banner when starting a Character Client application like there is when using a GUI Progress client. Therefore any splash screen that is seen when starting a Character Client application would have been created as part of the application being run.
You will need to talk to your application provider to discuss removal of the splash screen.
