SYMPTOM(s):
Webclient getting error: Secure Socket Layer (SSL) failure, error code 11001: Unknown network error (9318).
Windows error code 11001 indicates host not found
WSAHOST_NOT_FOUND (11001)
Host Not Found -- No network host matching the hostname or address was found.
CAUSE:
The client machine is unable to resolve the hostname reference passed to it in the certificate.
FIX:
If the network is functioning correctly it may be necessary to correct the hosts file or update the DNS server to correctly reference the hostname and IP address designated in the SSL certificate.
