Connect MS-Windows Clients to AS/400
To connect MS-Windows Client to a AS/400 you to to install the
following on the AS/400:
o AS/400 Operating System must be at V2R2 or higher
o PROGRESS/400 4GL & DataServer Software, or PROGRESS/400
DataServer V6.2M04 or higher
o IBM PC Support/400 (5738-PC1) part number
MS-Windows Client:
o IBM PC Support/400 (5738-PC1) part number
o IBM LAN Support Program V1.26 or higher
o Network card, Progress recommends either Token-Ring or Ethernet
