SYMPTOM(s):
Procedure is shown as a function in the outline view
The procedure name contains the word 'Function'
When removing the word 'Function' (i.e. Functio) in the procedure name, then it is shown as a procedure
CAUSE:
The Advanced Editing Option is turned off.
FIX:
The advanced editing option has to be turned on.
The steps to follow from the OpenEdge Architect are
- Open the Preferences for the workspace (Menu Window -> Preferences)
- Expand the OpenEdge item
- Expand the Editor item
- Click on the Assistance item
- Check the "Enable advanced editing" option
