AppBuilder launched from the OpenEdge Architect toolbar creates windows as standalone, outside of the workbench's DesignView
Another OpenEdge version installed on the same machine
Using -basekey INI -ininame <path to ini file> in the project's OpenEdge Runtime Startup parameters
CAUSE:
INI file being used copied from another OpenEdge release, having wrong DLC and PROPATH settings
causing AppBuilder to pick up the old code without necessary hooks for parenting to the DesignView pane.
FIX:
The %DLC%\bin\progress.ini file from the correct OpenEdge release needs to
be copied into the working directory and appropriate modifications made to it
taking care that DLC and PROPATH settings reflect correct directory locations.
