CHANGE:
The migration process from Dynamics 2.1A01 to 2.1B needs to be gradual, as at the current time, it is impossible to go directly from Dynamics 2.1A01 to 2.1B.
Important considerations:
· Before start the migration, the 9.1D09 service pack needs to be installed. You have to continue on 9.1D09 until you reach the point of being on Dynamics 2.1B.
· Migration to Roundtable 9.1D05 is a pre-requisite.
· Be sure to backup each repository before each upgrade.
Steps:
The upgrade should follow these steps:
· Backup existing repositories.
SPAN style="mso-list: Ignore">· Migration of 2.1A01 to 2.1A02
o Migrate Dynamics from 2.1A01 to 2.1A02 (you still have 9.1D09).
o Apply incremental package rtb_020101_020102.zip.
· Backup repositories.
· Migration of 2.1A02 to 2.1A03
o Migrate Dynamics from 2.1A02 to 2.1A03 (you still have 9.1D09).
o Apply incremental package rtb_020102_020103.zip.
· Backup repositories.
· .; Migration of 2.1A03 to 2.1B
o Migrate Progress 9.1D09 to 9.1E.
o Migrate Roundtable 9.1C04 to 9.1D05.
o Migrate Dynamics from 2.1A03 to 2.1B.
o Apply incremental package rtb_020103_0201B0.zip.
Notes:
· Each Dynamics Service Pack and Dynamics-Rountable incremental package has its own Readme file. The corresponding Readme must be read before the upgrade and followed step by step. The Readme files contain all the necessary information.
· The Dynamics-Roundtable incremental packages will be installed after the installation of the Dynamics service pack. For example, the rtb_020101_020102.zip will be installed after the Dynamics 2.1A02 service pack.
· These are the names of the incremental packages and their corresponding readme files:
a) 2.1A01 -> 2.1A02: rtb_020101_020102.zip and READMERTB21A02.txt.
b) 2.1A02 -> 2.1A03: rtb_020102_020103.zip and READMERTB21A03.txt.
c) 2.1A03 -> 2.1B: rtb_020103_0201B0.zip and READMERTB21B.txt..
