AS/400 Configuration requirements to run Progress/400
The following list describes the MINIMUM recommended AS/400 system
configuration for running the PROGRESS/400 Server:
- 16MB of main storage
- An additional 1MB of memory reserved for the system code (shared
among all users)
- 100-300KB of memory per active client.
- 7MB od DASD space: 3.5MB for Server code, 3.5MB for dDemo database
- A relative system performance rating of at least 3.3 for optimum
PROGRESS/400 Server performance. (Contact IBM for details.)
This would be model's 9402 F06, 9404 D25, 9404 E20, 9406 B60.
