Actuate uses alot of CPU time - OIB OID

Actuate uses alot of CPU time

This is a known issue that development is currently looking into
fixing.

A workaround that may provide an acceptable solution is to have the
Open Interface Broker (OIB) run on the client with Actuate instead
of on the server with the database.

For example (on NT or Win95):
Startup parameters:
db (server) -> _mprosrv.exe sports -S service2 -H host2 -N TCP
oib (client) -> oibrkr32.exe -SV -S service1

Actuate parameters:
Databaselist: -db sports -S service2 -H host2 -N TCP
StartupParameters: -SV -S service1 -H actuatehost -N TCP

With client-networking on the client machine, you can use TCP to
connect from Actuate to the OIB and you can use TCP to connect from
the OIB to the database on the server machine.
