SYMPTOM(s):
Upgrading Dynamics results in Fathom upgrade error.
You must install the latest Progress Core patch before installing Fathom.
Applying Dynamic 2.0A02 service pack when 9.1E is installed results in Fathom upgrade error.
CAUSE:
The installed is trying to get the DLC path from a key in the registry called ProgressDLC, but this key does not exist. This is logged with Development as Bug# 20050712-004.
FIX:
Upgrade to Dynamics 2.1B01 or as a work around add a registry key called "ProgressDLC" in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PSC\Progress Dynamics\2.0A
with a value pointing to the Progress version DLC directory. So in this case the 9.1E DLC.
