SYMPTOM(s):
Error 4079 occurs when using the ADD-LIKE-COLUMN method with a dynamic browse in a character environment.
**Unable to set attribute "ADD-LIKE-COLUMN" on <widget id> in the current environment. (4079)
**Unable to set attribute <attribute> on <widget id> in the current environment. (4079)
CAUSE:
Progress does not support the dynamic browse widget nor a static browse with a dynamic query in a TTY character mode environment.
In the Progress Language Reference, it is documented that the ADD-LIKE-COLUMN method is for Graphical interface and Windows Operating Systems only.
FIX:
Use a static BROWSE widget if the use of a character interface is mandatory or use a Windows Graphical Client Interface if the use of a dynamic BROWSE widget is required.
