WebSpeed 2.x Agent Oracle Database Connection on UNIX
Webspeed agent can connect to an ORACLE database via PROGRESS network-
ing out of the box.
The WebSpeed agent connects to a PROGRESS schema holder which contains
information about a _probrkr process which in turn manages _orasrv
processes that talk to an ORACLE instance.
If you chose to have an agent connect to an ORACLE database via
SQL*Net, ORACLE's networking, then you will have to build a new agent.
An agent can be built using the PROBUILD utility. In this case, the
agent connects to a schema holder which contains information about an
ORACLE instance.
