No, schema holder must be updated using menu option "Update/Add Table Definitions" of the Data Administration Tool. Internal information is stored in the schema holder file and It can be changed when a new version or even a new service pack is released. Progress does not provide support for the creation of a schema holder definitions file programmatically.
