SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to connect to a database on the same machine using SQL Explorer.
Error: <command name | SQL Exception message>. (8933)
Error: [JDBC Progress Driver]:[20101]Invalid host name in connect string. (8933)
Host name being specified in sqlexp is correct.
Fully qualified domain name with sqlexp still unable to connect.
CAUSE:
The hostname entry in the /etc/hosts file is incorrect.
FIX:
Specify a correct host name entry in the /etc/hosts file.
