Moving Fast Track database from V6 to V7 and across platform
How to upgrade Fast Track database from V6 to V7
and at the same time change platforms.
1. In v6 Fast Track, go in Maintenance Menu->Dump FT Data Files
2. Create new db in v7
3. load in his application schema (.df's) thru Data Dictionary
4. run conversion utility to make db a Fast Track db - convft dbname
5. Go into v7 Fast Track, Maintenance Menu->Load FT Data Files.
The Dump and Load must be used from within Fast Track and not from
within the Data Dictionary. The reason for this is that Fast Track
will also dump and load the Fast Track specific hidden files.
