Status: Unverified
SYMPTOM(s):
User sees unexpected European numeric and/or date formats.
CAUSE:
At install time the user may have selected international English which will cause a startup.pf to be copied to the DLC directory. This startup.pf file contains a -E and a -d mdy.
FIX:
Check if the user is starting up with a .pf file.
Even if one is not being specified on the start up line, check to see if a default one was installed in the DLC directory.
Edit the file.
Comment out the -E and -d
Restart the session to see the numerics and dates in the desired format.
Please start a new Progress session without the -E. The above is also true here, that is, comment out the -E and -d lines in the startup.pf located in the DLC directory.
