SYMPTOM(s):
AdminServer does not start anymore
There is nothing written to the proadsv log file
CHANGE:
AdminServerPlugins.properties file has changed.
Instead of :
policyfile=/dlc/100B02/java/java.policy
/dlc/100B02/policyfile=/dlc/100B02/java/java.policy
appeared.
CAUSE:
The Java policy file java.policy grants by default all permissions. If the policy file cannot not be found then the JVM in which the AdminServer is running has even no permission to write to the log file.
FIX:
Restoring original AdminServerPlugins.properties file from backup .
