Problem affects .TRIG, .TUF, .IF files - requires session restart to view changes
Problem does not affect .P and .W files - changes are seen immediately
Development files are located on Windows 2003 server
Development files accessed via a mapped drive
Problem does not occur if the files are moved to the client PC
Problem did not occur on Windows 2000 Server
BitDefender AntiVirus Software running on the Windows 2003 Server
CHANGE:
Upgraded from Windows 2000 Server to Windows 2003 Server
CAUSE:
It appears that the AntiVirus software prevented the execution of the modified files, possibly because the affected file extensions were user-defined. The problem did not occur after the AntiVirus software was disabled.
FIX:
Ensure that the affected files are added to the AntiVirus' exclude list
