FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
-usrcount is not supported by this executable (1610)
-rptint is not supported by this executable (1610)
-usrcount is being used as a database startup parameter
-rptint is being used as a database startup parameter
-usrcount parameter is ignored
CAUSE:
Although the parameters -usrcount and -rptint still appear in the documentation, they are no longer supported in Progress version 9.x. When Progress detects the presence of either of these parameters it will issue the (1610) error message just prior to starting the database.
The parameter is then ignored.
FIX:
Remove all instances of these parameters in your parameter files or from the command line.
