You must install the latest Progress Core patch before installing Dynamics. Patches can be downloaded from ">http://www.progress.com/patches
Installing Dynamic 2.1B01 service pack displays an error about the latest core patch when the latest core patch is actually installed.
CAUSE:
The problem is caused by one of two things:
1. The registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PSC\Progress Dynamics\2.1B\ProgressDLC is set to the wrong value.
2. The value of DLC in <dynamics install>\bin\icf.ini file is set to the wrong value.
FIX:
Correct the registry or the dynamics icf.ini file. These should be set to the core version of Progress being used. For example 'D:\progress\91E'
