Microsoft Vista has been certified starting 10.1B03 (OpenEdge 10.1B Service Pack 3).
Following Vista editions are supported:

Home Basic - NOT Supported
Home Premium - NOT Supported
Business - Supported
Enterprise - Supported
Ultimate - Supported
In general, we do not support any Home version of Windows. We never supported Windows XP Home, and we don?t support Windows Vista Home or any of the Windows 7 Home editions (including Starter, Home, and Home Premium)(Windows 7 as of 10.1C). Out entry level support is always with Windows Professional
Versions of Progress/OpenEdge earlier than those listed above (Progress 9.1E, OpenEdge 10.1A, etc.) will not be certified against Microsoft Vista operating system due to their Mature/Retired Life Cycle Status.
