Apptivity cannot connect to host <hostname> on port 8200

This error came be seen with different web browsers. This error
is displayed when the call to create a new Java Socket object fails.
Usually this occurs due to a security exception.

With the Netscape browser, this can be corrected by making the
following modification to the prefs.js file which should be located
in c:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\<your id>

add the line:
user_pref("signed.applets.low_security_for_local_classes",true);

As this is a generated file, updating your version of Netscape, or
modifying your preferences in any way will cause this line to be
removed, therefore you will need to re-add it. There is a utility
available at the following location to modify this file automatically.
http://developer.netscape.com/library/technote/security

Another reason you may see this error is if the server name cannot be
resolved due to DNS configuration problems or DNS server response
problems.
