The errors occur if a previous service pack installation was rolled back by recursively copying the contents of the SPBackup directory to $DLC.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by Development.
FIX:
Workaround:
- rename $DLC/java/messages.jar
- install the service pack normally
- rename $Dlc/java/messages.jar back to original name
