What license will allow Progress client to connect to DB2?
FACT(s) (Environment):
ODBC DataServer
FIX:
ODBC data server has been tested against DB2 server running on windows, RS/6000 and MVP platforms but has not been tested against DB2 server running on Linux, the connection is made from DB2 windows client which means the data server is installed on windows.
DB2 client connecting to DB2 server on Linux might work, so the data server may work as well, but this configuration has never been tested, thus not supported.
