Slow performance when using RB-OTHER-PARAMETERS
Values contained within RB-OTHER-PARAMETERS are used to filter data in the report
CAUSE:
This is expected behaviour. Using RB-OTHER-PARAMETERS to pass filter information will cause the report query to be evaluated on the client. Therefore all the records in the specified table(s) are transferred over the network to the client machine and the filter is then used to select the records to display in the report.
FIX:
Use the RB-FILTER parameter to pass information that is intended to filter records. For best performance, ensure that the filter criteria is server-evaluatable.
