Converting database with conv910 exits back to the prompt
Trying to convert Progress 9 database to OpenEdge 10.0X.
Conversion process fails with no error messages.
Starting a character client session with _progress starts the Procedure Editor
Connecting single user to database errors with: ** Database has the wrong version number. (db: <value>, pro: <value>). (44)
CAUSE:
bug # 20040720-047
FIX:
Progress conv910 depends upon PWD being set and not all UNIX platforms have it set.
Upgrade to OE 10.0B01 or higher
A workaround for the problem is to set the environment variable PWD (primary/current working directory)
PWD=`pwd`;export PWD
