'Parent Fields' and 'Parent filter query' values are entered in the Master DynCombo properties
Static file (.r) for the DynCombo is executed
Master instance of the DynCombo is dropped in the viewer
No customizations for the DynCombo are made in the instance dropped in the viewer

This is a known issue being investigated by Development
