GOAL:
Does changing the number of places for a decimal field, change the CRC?
GOAL:
If a decimal field is changed from having 2 places after the decimal to now having 3 places after the decimal, will it impact my CRC?
FIX:
Yes. If you change a decimal field with regards to number of digits after the decimal place it will change the CRC.
If you are only changing the format of the decimal field and not the actual number of digits being stored in the database, then no the
CRC will not change.
