SYMPTOM(s):
Connection to AppServer when using state-aware or state-reset modes takes longer than state-less.
Network Address Translating Router used to make connection from clients.
CAUSE:
The AppServer Server _proapsv performs a DNS lookup when it finalizes its connection to the client. The NAT Router is perceived as the client. The NAT Router was not listed in hosts file or DNS.
FIX:
Make sure the client (or router) which the AppServer perceives as the source of the connections is listed in the hosts file or DNS. This will reduce the connection time by the clients.
