Progress doesn't perform hardware testing or benchmark testing on specific hardware.
There is too much variety in the market to perform tests on all hardware so we make no evaluations of any hardware.
Progress has no special code to differentiate which disks or disk systems we are resident on. If the operating system and the controllers are functioning appropriately, Progress should work well.
When using a SAN, customers generally put their AI files on a different filesystem than their data files. The same would apply to BI - a different filesystem than either that used by the AI or the data files.
