GOAL:

How is the Timeout Request used?

FACT(s) (Environment):

All Supported Operating Systems
Progress 9.x
OpenEdge 10.x

FIX:

The Timeout Request in Progress Explorer is located under the Advanced Features of the broker properties for AppServer and WebSpeed.
Request Timeout is the amount of time, in seconds, that the broker waits for an agent to become available for processing a request, if the maximum number of agents has been reached. After the timeout has expired, the client receives a "no agents available" error message. The default is 15 seconds.
