GOAL:
Why do I have so many Empty databases in my installation directory?
GOAL:
Can I delete the empty databases in the installation directory?
FIX:
The empty databases you find in the installation directory are needed when you create a new database.
Each empty dbase refers to a specific blocksize.
Empty = 1k
Empty2 = 2k
Empty4 = 4k
Empty8 = 8k
You will also find the same four database under the <Install Dir>/prolang directory.
For each language that you have selected to install, a subdirectory in the Prolang directory will be created. Each subdirectory will contain four Empty database with the codepage for the specific language.
For Example: Within <Install Dir>/prolang/mex directory you will find Empty, Empty2, Empty4 and Empty8 for databases in Spanish (Mexican) languages.
