Oracle Error 911 when running for each with where clause
This kbase is being generated to assist customers that are running 8.1
and greater of progress and may be experiencing Oracle error 911
when running a for each statement with a where clause.
Oracle error 911 indicates:
00911, 00000, "invalid character"
This error can be caused when using the connection parameter -cgw with
the Progress Dataserver for Oracle using 8.1 and greater. The -cgw
parameter is valid for running rcode which was generated by an 8.0B
client session to be ran by an 8.0A client. We have addressed this
issue in later versions of Progress, therefore this option is no
longer necessary and may result in this error.
