SYMPTOM(s):

"Adminserver <host> is going offline temporarliy for maintenance"

running more than one instance of the Progress Explorer against the same AdminServer

CAUSE:

proadsv autodetects changes in ubroker.properties. iow: If I modify manually the ubroker.properties while the AdminServer and unified brokers (AppServer, WebServer, NameServer etc.) are up (running) and the Progress Explorer displays the expected message:
"The admin server on <hostname> is going offline temporarily for maintenance". This is expected behaviour to ensure that if the properties are updated concurrently, that the last-saved changes are those that will take effect. Then after the changes have been propogated, the AdminServer recovers (warm restart) and restarts fine. The unified brokers keep working. The changes however will only be taken into account once the unified broker in question is re-started.

FIX:

The message in itself is harmless. The AdminServer re-establishes it's connections to the unified brokers once the changes have been propogated.

In order that the changes are taken into account, stop the unified broker(s) in question before making necessary changes to the ubroker.propeties file.
