Prorest from tape fails
Prorest fails with errors
SYSTEM ERROR: Read of /dev/rmt0.1 failed, errno = 46 (1052)
ERROR: Read of /dev/rmt0.1 failed, errno = 5 (1052)
I/O error reading volume header, errno = 0. (6782)
ERROR - Database restore utility FAILED !!! (8564)
OS backup commands to tape work fine
OS restore error:
Media read error while skipping over inode 69836
resync restore, skipped 940 blocks
Media read error while skipping over inode 69836
Probkup to tape completes without error
CAUSE:
Problem with SCSI bus and adapter.
FIX:
Either replace the problem SCSI bus and adapter or move device to another working SCSI bus and adapter.
