FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows XP
OpenEdge 10.x
SYMPTOM(s):
proserve can not find .db file
proserve can not start the database
Progress Explorer can not start the database
The database was created using prodb
All the database files are in the same folder
Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1 is installed and running in the same box
CAUSE:
Microsoft AntiSpyware does not allow any process to use the .db file
FIX:
Shut down the Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1 and start the database
