Novell 4.11 Client32 gives ERROR: Record with icbdbkey
If getting the error ERROR: Record with icbdbkey <RECID> left with a
usecount of <count> after installing 4.11 Novell Netware, Check to see
if the Client32 files are dated 7-26-97.
The files in question are DWEUN_N3.EXE and 95EUN_N3.EXE.
It was discovered that replacing these with an older copy of the
Client32 corrected this problem. We have not been able to isloate the
reason for this to happen, but this will get the user running in the
meantime. Also note that the use we discovered this in was one patch
level behind in his netware upgrades so this may be something that
Novell has already fixed, but we have not gotten a confirmation from
the user as they have not upgraded to the new version.
Other Information: The user was working on an SMC 10-100 Ethernet car
d at the 10 speed, this is probably not involved, but wanted it
documented.
