FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
SYMPTOM(s):
Setup.exe does not launch installshield
Setup.exe is present in the Task Manager
Installing Progress does not resolve problem
No Anti-Virus is running
Rebooting the machine does not resolve problem
Installshield launches on other servers
Local Administrator account used for installation
Add/Remove Programs displays the same behavior
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
Reinstall the operating system.
