SYMPTOM(s):
Importing a file of 1.5Gb in size.
Loading a file of 1.5GB into a single table.
Trying to load a big file with 4GL.
CAUSE:
Progress has a 32K buffer limitation , therefore a 1.5Gb file cannot be read into a 4GL procedure
FIX:
Loading a data file (.d) of 1.5GB via the Data-Dictionary will be work, providing that enough data extents have been defined
